:( which scanner
Re: :) which scanner?!
I did a little bit of looking at that scanner and I found this site:
EASE scanner
Go down to the software screens section you can "click to view sample software screens". I found this to be an education in it self. I selected and viewed both OBD1 and OBD2 scanners to view them and compare them.
No way my present scanner comes even close to this, I love those graphs, someday I will have to upgrade.
I do remember seeing this product as I was researching my initial purchase, however, I needed pre-OBD1 for my Zed'r and this was not even mentioned.
Team ZR1 has me a little confused too:
Is f/ps a typo for the baud rate (bps) or something else?
VPW and CAN protocal appear to be brand specific acronyms, what do they refer to?
I am pretty sure I saw this program tested in a Car Magazine, possibly Car Craft, they seemed to have a positive view but couldn't get the program to work properly. It kept generating false or missleaded codes - a big red light goes on when I read that. Either the staff writers were not too brillent or the program is buggy/hard to operate. Someone correct me here if I am out to lunch.

It scans, records, has bi directional and uses GM's VPW or CAN protocal so you configure it to scan at 4 rimes faster then OBD-II 10 f/ps

Re: :( which scanner
This is the scan tool I just ordered...
Matco Enhansed Scan Tool
The Matco guy that stops at our work let me take a demo home and I was really impressed with this scan tool. It does everything I needed it to
