Is it safe to adjust the idle with freescan?

Is it safe to adjust the idle with freescan?

What is says above. I would like to lower the idle by maybe 200 RPM or so. Drop it from 900 to 700 and go from there.

I believe it is only temporary (at least that is what I remember) - just for the diagnostic session.

I went ahead and tried it and it didn't do anything. Who knows not that big of a deal. Just curious.
