Running lean after backfire

I went to the track the other night, I was changing timing trying to get a little more our of the car while running nitrous, got a backfire, the MAF code came on, reset the code and tried another run, but without nitrous, this time the car ran lean high 14's low 15's on wide brand, before the backfire it was running high 12's and low 13's on wide brand. the MAF is not throwing code now, but could it have been damaged enough to cause a lean condition and not give a code, I cleaned the unit this morning and still getting lean all across the chart. I even added to MAF from bottom to top 5 points and no change.

got it fixed, it was the MAF, was not giving a code after I reset, but the running lean cleared up after I changed the unit
