Reducing Transmition shift pressure? Bad?

Trying this question in the computer area...

Hi, I have a B&M shift kit installed in my transmition and like the harsh shifts at WOT but it is annoying at low throttle, slow speeds, and stop and go traffic. I have LT1 edit so I reduced the shift pressures at lower TPS values by half and that has helped alot though I think a little bit more would be good. I want to check if this is a potential problem for my transmition? Does the reduced pressure cause any engagement problems? How low can I go? I have AutoTap aswell to keep tabs on everything. I'm not sure if this would be better to post in the computer programing area... Any insite, past expirience would be awesome. My goal is to keep the quick shifts at high throttle and make it softer at low throttle. Thanks!
