radiator fan always running

Re: radiator fan always running
OK, I didn't get to do much testing yesterday, but the volt test on the temp wires came out good at 5 volts. Today I cleared the codes, started the engine, the fan did not run. According to the gauge the water temp hit around 225 and the fan actually did not come on. I don't know if I need to run/drive even longer and get it really hot or I may now have a (new) problem. Also, I got a new code now, code 34 (no more 14 and 42).
To answer knucklehead27's question. I believe we concluded the fan temp sensor is just above the water pump, two wires which are yellow and black. Depending on how things go with further testing, I may end up with a problem like knucklhead's even though I have already changed my sensor....
