my buddy has a 95 firehawk, and the has the cable, tuner pro, and the thrid party program that downloads and uploads the file... i was wondering if he would be able to upload a file to my pcm using that third party program and his cable if i bought a email update from ion....i have a 96 obd II car.

 

95 is OBD I, 96 is OBD II. completely different.

 

What I'm asking is will the cable he has work? His is a 95 obdii style port. I want to data log my car and use winflash to load a tune. Just wanting to know if I borrow his cable and use it with my laptop and obdii car will it work?
