Question about SLP Camaros

I just bought a 2002 SLP last Friday. In the drivers side where the diagnostic port for the computer is a small toggle switch hanging by the wires.

When you turn it on the car will not crank. When you turn the key to the crank position the horn blows.....

Has anyone seen this before?

BTW, great site, I'm glad I found you.

Thanks, Dave

Re: Question about SLP Camaros

Thats probably an aftermarket kill switch someone installed. My friend had one on his f-150 you had to push on a part of the dash in order for the car to start. Its to prevent someone from stealing your car.

Thats a pretty cool feature you got with your car. Just flip the switch when you go in to work or leave your car in a mall parking lot.
