putting in a new wiring harness, mine is junk, will this one work?

It says for 94-95 w/o vats, but it also says it works at the bottom for 96-97. I asked the guy at painless and said if my computer is programed for the 6-speed, which it is, that it should work. Just confirming with you guys that it will work.

You could do that, but it would take a lot of extra work as with any "universal" product. Besides that, the price is so high. You could buy a harness off another car, reloom it and be out a lot cheaper (probably less work too).
