I am having problems with andrews ALDL converter or cable...

I cannot connect read using datamaster nor program or read using tunercat...

I used the ALDL test 2.0 from datamaster and it fails all tests (the converter is disconnected from vehicle but connected to laptop)

When I press the test com on the datamaster it shows... Incorrect message received from pcm or sometimes PCM not detected message, but gives an OK on the converter...

Any thoughts? ideas?

I haven't been able to get ahold of andrew, he seems an extreemely busy man...

I can read using my LT1 Scanmaster and I can read using an OTC automotive scanner (similar to tech 2). I do have a switch on the scanmaster so it doesn't interfere...

mine did that and i had to change the com port settings.

 

What settings?? i would love to know.. this was working one day and stopped the next.. soLet me know
