pedal position decreases power

Recently on my 97SS I have noticed that there are a few spots in my acc. pedal that dont seem to send the correct figures to the computer/tps. The position of the pedal around 1/4 throttle-3/4 throttle has some spots that do not allow the vehicle to gain any power. It seems like maybe the tps has some bad spots in it and is not sending the proper signal to the computer. The spots feel like the fuel is temporaraly cutout until i change teh position of the pedal to allow the proper readings. Has anyone experienced this type of problem?
or does it sound like the tps?

Re: pedal position decreases power

I would check the tps voltages at throttle positions and go from there.
