A search should net you lots of opinions. Been asked many times. You can't really go wrong with either.

I've tried both. 97ss LT1 383-D1 MM6 app. pcmForLess provided me a obd1 pcm and flash. Did not work with my app. Mail order tunes are difficult with FI applications. I purchased software and did it myself. I saw what he did (timing roll back was a problem), and, corrected it. Also PE vs. temp + other.

Also sent a new OBD2 Pcm for vin# and my own program flash. Very easy and quite easy with Ion. I sent him a LT1_edit file.

If I had to do again, I wold go with Ion. He went along with my options, but, you have to live with them.

I started with a Madz tune. Ion was very close. I tune my self now but for starters he was great.
