OBD2-OBD1 under dash connectors?

Post OBD2-OBD1 under dash connectors?

I have my 1996 trans am with Ed Wright tunning done to it. Well to make it short it sucks and runs like crap. I have decided to convert to OBD1 and use LT-1 edit software. My question is will the under dash connectors of a OBD2 work for OBD1 tools ex.(Scantool,Hypertech,LT-1 edit).Does someone make an adaptor that make OBD1 tolls wok for a 1996 OBD2 car and its connections. What about vin numbers will LT-1 edit let me set the vin the new Pcm for smog? please help! I am also in search for 1994-1995 Pcm email me if you have one to sell Bostawal@hotmail.com

Yes, the OBD2 connectors will work for the OBD1 computer. It'll be like the 95 car, which has OBD2 connectors but OBD1 PCM. Just be careful, though, when you decide to program. I just spent $90 today to get a new PCM thanks to Tunercat's flshprog DOS programmer. I don't know anything about LT1Edit, so it might not have the problems that tunercat seems to have when it comes to programming.
