Has anybody have one?? I still have that damn problem...The last time I was at the track, I sat in the staging lanes for maybe 5-10 minutes, with the car running..never got above 180*( the car temp), went to the burnout box, did a mild burnout with my line lock...and about middle part through 2nd gear, it "short shifts, and the SES light on..Damn OBD1!!! Can anybody help me?? I have a 94'z witha 3200 Midwest converter, etc..Anymore info?

if you have tunercat you can call Ion at www.madwolf.com and buy a bin file from him with the fix. the fix does work. he help me about 2 weeks ago. so now i know what the fix is. i had it almost figureed out but ion told me the last thing i needed to do. if you work at it with tuner cat you can get.

and use the search feature.

This has been beaten pretty well....
Do a search in the computer/diagnostics forum or the advanced tech forum and you will find it.
We need to probably make it a sticky at the top of the page since this same question probably gets asked once a week.

That is www.madz28.com
The software fix doesn't always work though.
But the OBDII conversion I offer does. funina91ss just ran a 11.13 pass the other day with one...

If you provide your own OBDII, then it's just the programming price of $125. Otherwise, it's $225 with an OBDII PCM.

Sorroy no one answered your question. We tried the fix on my car with no luck. (it wont fix every car) Ion set me up with the OBD2 PCM. It is plug and play you will have to change to a 96 Knock sensor. and change 3 wires around 1 at the pcm and 2 at the ALDA plug.
