OBD1 F-body and B-body differences. HELP!

Bought 2 OBD1 PCMs that are #16188051. I had them read and they came from 2 B-Body cars. I want to use these in my 97 TA and 96Z. Bought will they work fior me. I bought them because I am purchasing LT1 Edit. I have been told by my mechanic he does not think they will work. Help please.. I have called and emailed Carputing but it usually takes them awhile to email me back.

Yes, any OBD1 LT1 PCM will work, as long as you reprogram it with your stock or modified file. My PCM got fried while programing, so I bought a new one. It came out of a Cadillac that used the LT1 back in like 92, and it worked just fine after I programmed it with my stock file. Your mechanic should stick to mechanic things and stay away from computers.
