obd 1 scaner for linux
obd 1 scaner for linux
is there any obd 1 scanner data logging software out there for linux?
i am wondering because my current laptop sata hdd died and i wont be replacing it right away as i am able to run an ide hdd over usb for the time being. cant run windows cause it wont install with that configuration.
also with the tiny raspberry pi making its way to market some obd 1 linux software could make for a fun toy. i have a usb to obd1.5(thanks 95 model year) that i know works with freescan and datamaster.

Re: obd 1 scaner for linux
Post up if you can find anything in the retail market.. OBD1 applications are all 17 years old with the older chipsets and protocol. Most have not been updated in years or if so are maintained by volunteers as temp projects that fade out. Not much call for linux in that market, took some a while to get beyond W/XP.
