obd-1/obd-2 cables??

This cable is being sold on ebay for around $15. Will it work with my 95 camaro which is obd-1 but has an obd-2 connector, or is the cable only compatible with obd2 systems? I would like to use it to run freescan and to upload my madz28 tune i will be getting.

heres the link.

Or would i be better off to just buy the cable from AKM cables and make sure i am getting the right one?

This cable is just a piece of what you need. Just buy the one from akmcables... If the $95 one is too much for you, get the "crimp" style one. It works just as good.

Thanks for the reply madwolf. I figured it was only part of what I needed but I thought I might give it a try. As soon as I get a paypal account set up I will be ordering the cable and an email tune from you.

thanks again
