not shifting from 2 to 3-HELP!!!

95 Z28 Camaro With Lt1 A4,,,car Is Equipped With A 3500 Yank Converter,,,,when I Had 28 Inch Tire On Car ,no Problem Shifting,,,problems Began When I Went To A 26 Inch Tire,,,now The Computer Has Been Changed To Account For The Change In Tire Size...car Passes 6000 Rpm Shift Point And Hits Rev Limiter At 6500,this Occurs Going From 2nd To 3rd....what Can I Do To Solve This Problem???,,,madman Z28 Just Tuned The Car....

so its not changing gears at all? or its banging the limiter a lot then changing gears? if not changing the gears at all then i would say forward sprag could be gone or it could be a shift solinoid (best case 30$ part). if its banging then shifting does it do this all the time a wot or is it everynow and then at wot

Mine did the same thing on 26' tire after I put the 3500 stall in, never tried a 28' to see if it went away, it is sometimes refered to as the stall wall or OBD-I high stall issue if you search for those things. it happens when placing a high stall converter into an OBD-I car, the computer has trouble reading all the parameters to perform the shift accuratly, a lot of guy switch to an OBD-II computer, but I got mine fixed through Bryan at PCMforless...
