Post No cyl. volume or fuel inj. flow rate in Fastchip program

I just got Tunercat working/licensed yesterday and read my PCM, which was previously programmed by Ed Wright of Fastchip.

There no numbers for cylinder volume or fuel injector flow rate entered in my .bin file. Any guesses why this may be?

I lowered the fan speeds and reflashed the program and it works fine without these two constants. Also, I verified it doesn't need the old $EEB def file.

Just want to know if he's done something "special" that I should be aware of before I start altering it. Thanks.

Ed Wright does a lot of his programming using a hex editor. He does this to try and prevent people from editing his programs.

Do you know when he started doing this "hex" editor thing?

I had him program my computer a few years back and major changes that I've tried to make have had little impact on my ability to lean the "richness" problem out.
