hello guys i just put my shift light it and it works but of corse there is a problem, the shift light i got was the autometer pro that takes the pills, its the stand alone shift light, well when the car is running and i gently bring it to 3000rpms it works flawless but if at idle and i goose it quick the light comes on at say 1500-2000, what would cause this, i followed the instructions at install university and i have it 4cyl mode what would cause this? thanks alot. bob

 

could it be that it's working just fine and the problem is a slow tach?

 

could the tach really be that slow, is this normal does everyone who install a shift light encounter this problem? how can you fix it? thanks
