need $ee calibration file
thanks, kinda new to using the tunercat softwear , was'nt for sure wear to get it, thank you for the info, also do I need to get the editor version? will the $ee file be what Iwill need to make some changes to my ecm? thanks
You'll need the actual tunercat software and then the $ee and $eeb files. The $eeb comes with the $ee...so you'll get both together from TC. Your 94 might require the $eeb, you won't know until you try it. Should cost you $100.
Hope that answers your questions.

$eeb will NOT work with an F-body of any year. It is absoulutely not needed, and don't try to use it or your car will not run. It changes all kinda of stuff like injector constants and cylinder volume and screws with the tranny settings all without you doing anything but opening your Fbody file in the $eeb definition files and downloading them into the PCM. Don't ask how i know
FWIW that was on a 94 Z28 too.

That is NOT true. Here's an example:

Why would he bother including it in the package otherwise?
eeB will work on some early 94 cars and a few other exceptions, but it must not be used unless your data looks messed up with the EE and it looks fine with the eeB.

EEb is not just for other cars, it is required on some Fbodies. Most of the cars that got the early FLASH PCMs were fleetwoods and buicks, but some of them found their way into some early 94 Fbodies as well. Just buy the file, you get both $ee and $eeb when you do. The way to tell is if your cylinder volume reads 717 ml, the def file you are using is correct. If it reads something like 14 ml, it's not correct. If anyone wants to see this in action, I have a bin file from a cadillac fleetwood that requires the eeb def file. It's got some VERY funny readings if you try to use $ee.
