i recently installed an msd 3-step timing retard and while reading through the instructions (yes, i actually read the instructions!) i came across an interesting fact...just having the box hooked up automatically retards the timing 4 degrees! now my question is, will the pcm automatically compensate for this or do i need to fire up the Tunercat and program in 4 degrees more timing? I figured i'd ask first before i go and do it and hurt the motor.
