i just received it in the mail today and went to hook it up per their directions but noticed on my 94 TA there is no spot for the blue wire. so i just ran it with the red/black/white. and freescan did not find the ECU what am i doing wrong??

 

on my '94 it works with the red wire in pin9 (data) and black in pin5 (grd). That's all you need.

I've used it with Datamaster and Tunercat

 

I got my cable from them today, and the damn thing will not work.

Hooked up using red and black like drawing shows, on pins A and M (far right)

Using datamaster, went to record menu, and selected monitor, gives errors, "com lost" and PCM sync error. Selected Test COM from Record window, and says com is ok, and it detected the ECM. WTF

 

cable has worked fine for me for many months.

Perhaps there is something wrong with the computer settings.

 

well, I hooked up earlier today with an AKM cable, and everything works great. That leaves the Mastach cable to be the problem.

I emailed the dude to tell him i want to return the POS he sold me, and then i will order one from AKM like i should have done in the first place.
