Question MAFt Translator/MADZ28

Here is some background info.I last used my maft translator about 4 yrs. ago w/ great success.I then had my pcm tuned by Madz28 which he added timing& leaned out the a/f ratio(premium gas tune).Last yr. i told him i wanted stock timing but to give me the lower tune(around 6-7 h.p).My ? is i want to keep his leaning out (when using 94 octane @ drag strip) but i want to optimize performance w/ 90 octane fuel when driving around town, etc which i should be able to do by richening the a/f ratio by 2 or 4 %.Is this possible& can i use the maft translator w/ his tuning or do i have to make a choice between the two?As it stands presently i have 5.0 kr w/ the 90 octane fuel(haven,t tried 91/92 or 94 yet;just finally fixed that code 48>had a broken yellow wire>bought new pigtail connector>had C & A wires in wrong place>now fixed, no codes! After all is done my best luck was w/ the maft translator so i,m leaning that way but wanted to get some opinions on this first from others.Btw i thought my kr. was from the increased timing but w/ stock timing the 5.0 kr. is still there.I also bought a spare maf & using that w/ no problems.
