LT1 engine swiths off??!!
Hi all, am new around here...
Well, I have an LT1 which sometimes switches it self off when the car is stationary and the engine running... What could be the problem??? When I start it up again, it starts normally!!
Thanx all in advance

Does the car start and run a while and just cut off like you turned the key off ??. Mine was very bad about what I stated above. It would start and run for about 10 seconds and cut off. It turned out to be the PCM.

Thanx for your reply
Well I think I found out the problem...
As you said, it did cut off like you turned the key off, but only sometimes when am at a stop... However, today the car died on me... The engine turned off and would not start and there was no power at all as if there is no battery... I moved the wires connected to the battery and the power came ON. Then when I started the car I noticed that the positive wire from the battery to the alternator was toughing the belt and the insulation was gone... I insulated it by tape and placed it away from the belt... Hope that was the problem...
