Lt1 edit - help got questions -

Lt1 edit - help got questions -

I got a 95 z28 with trick flow heads al kind of stuff. the car runs but not well. i been looking to have the car tuned or to buy this lt1 edit. i have a good laptop and all the wires. but i don't know which would be better. any help would be app.. thanks alot

I have both and I use Tunercats cause it has more options, LT1_Edit is slightly better organized though, probably easlier to use.

LT1_Edit is also locked to your VIN in the PCM whereas Tunercats is not.

If I were to choose one it def would be Tunercats

If your really interested then tune yourself, you'll get alot farther, it's alot of work to learn though - trial and error.

thanks i'll check it out.. i got a guy in tnn said he could tune it for 450.00 to 550.00 ..i checked the site out looks good . am i in danger of missing up the pcm? kinda nervice about the whole thing.

i never got the program working. took the car to have it tuned today. had to leave it . the car runs but not good , this is my 2nd rebuild with this car the first being lt4. the car ran good on the lt4 motor with no pcm mods but the hypertec programer. car ran ruff after trick flow heads and a 30 over bore. accell optie spark was installed with no diffrence. car is now waiting to be tuned i was told to get 330 at back wheels .. NOT what i was hoping for at all. just hope this optie spark is good seeing how it came from e-bay. i have way to much money in this . seeing how i bought this car new with 6 miles

Tuning is something you grow into, I think. It takes time and dedication but I have gotten a more radical LT1 than yours to operate perfectly with proper tuning. Unless you are satisifed with "good enough", you won't be perfectly happy with someone tuning your car. Further, it sounds like they are tuning on a dyno. Your main concern is tuning for part throttle and idle issues.
