I just got some mt et streets 26 11.50's and needed to change the speedo cause its a little off. I went to program the numbers in lt1 edit and chage the tire diameter and it wont seem to let me do it. An error message comes up that says new gear ratio must be between 1.0 and 4.56. In the boxes is says 4.03 and 4.06 in the gears box. So to me thats between whats its susposed to be. When I try to change the numbers it wont let me. The car has 4.10 gears. I am sure it is something simple, but it seems I am just to dumb to figure it out.

 

you don't want to change the gear ratio.. but you do need to enter your current rear ratio if it's not in the boxes.. are you driving on et street's everyday?

 

For some reason it wont let me just change the tire ratio. It wants to change the gear rati too. Dont know why. I just want my speedo to be right. Yes, the car will be on et streets ecery time I drive it. It will be on the car every day, but the car is not my daily driver. The car only gets taken out on very nice days to cruise a little, and when I take it to the track and street race. The car has only gotten 3,000 miles on it in the past 10 months.
