Red face Logging software and edit software(100% NEWBIE)

Well i ve learn a lot on engine/suspension/motor but im really lost when it comes adjusting/tuning the car.

The basic would be to start by logging the car to see if there is nothing wrong so:

-What would i need to datalog my car beside a portable pc?(wich cable/wich software)

-After that if i want to correct something(like timing or fuel curve) i would only need a program(wich one)?

Yeah those are 100% pure noob question

Thank you

I use an AKM cable, and TTS Datamaster for datalogging with a laptop. Especially for a noob, I'd suggest exchanging datalogs with one of the mail-order tuners... they can make adjustments based on your datalogs, and know what they're doing. If you want to tune it yourself, Tunercat is a popular choice.

Tunercat will not work for your car as it is OBD-I only. You'll need an OBD-II tuner.
