KR when shifting

Does anyone else get knock retard when shifting a 6 speed car? I am seeing KR when shifting between gears. It is right when I lift the throttle and go into the next gear. Then the timing gradually recovers through that gear until I shift again. Anyone know why?

Yep, I've seen it on almost all 6 speed cars I've driven and scanned. It's called burst knock and there's a separate table for it.

I've seen the table for burst knock, will it hurt to zero it out?
ALso, I remember it being related to coolant temp, which I don't think mine ever gets into that range. Am I looking at the right table?

Those are celsius values. Yes, you could zero it out or set all the positive values greater than 3, to 3.
