How do I interpret Knock Count?

 

Knock count is just a total of all knock registered with the car. The knock count number can increase and then eventually will reset when it gets high enough (AFAIK). Many people have knock count when they get their car dataloged. It is not solely related to knock retard though.

 

I have a shat-pile of knock count on my car. I can't finger it out though. At times, under WOT, I have had as much as 7 degrees of retardation. That can't be healthy! I don't know where its coming from though.
