just wondering how hard it is......

To tune my computer with LT1 edit. I have a 1994 Z28 and i already have a madz28 tune(unlimited, but i've emailed to get updates and havent got any responses) so i guess i want to learn to do it myself. I have access to a dyno anytime i want with pretty much as many free pulls as i want,i'm just worried i'm going to mess it up is all. Is it easy or is it something i should get done by someone,i already have the laptop and cable all i'll need is the software for it and i'll be ready to go. Let me know what you all think,i want to know if i'm getting in to deep or noto, thanks all.

I'm a self taught tuner. I do it mainly because its a hobby. It is probably cheaper to just have someone do it for you. You'll be stabbing in the dark unless you get a wideband O2 and it takes a lot of research. Engineers site http://members.aol.com/InjuneerZZ/ScanMast.htm is a good place to start. There is also LJ's site http://para.noid.org/~lj/PCM%20Tutorial/PCMtutorial.htm. If your good at searching, this site is packed with info. LS1Tech is a more active computer tuning site. Good Luck

I have never used LT1 Edit but I really like www.tunercat.com It is easy to learn if you do some research. Tunercat does not Vin lock unlike LT1 edit that is why I bought Tunercat.

That's the one thing I dont like about mail order tunes. Sucks waiting for retunes etc when you want it asap.
