Just starting out with tunercar have a few ?'s
Well, I thought I really ought to learn a bit about so I got tunercat and I am trying to play with it a bit. I am having trouble finding out how to change the wot shifts can someone explain what table I need? The table I thought it was you had to use MPH to adjust it if this is the case how much does one MPH change the shift.

hot kick down mph threshold and hot kickdown rpm threshold. those two tables have to be met for the shift to occur
Re: Just starting out with tunercar have a few ?'s
I dont understand what you mean? Do you mean that the shift will only occur when you have reached that MPH and that rpm? And if you only meet that rpm and not that mph, then the shift will not take place? So if you wanted to shift at say 6300 you would set the MPH at like 32mph and then the rpm at 6300.

yep hes right, be sure to check your speed calibration table and make sure the gear setting tire size is right before you load your tune. this is very important in a A4 because it has to have the percise mph to know when to shift.
i find it eaiser to to st the mph about 5 mph below what mph you what to shift at and set the rpm to make the shift. say if you wanted to shift a t 60 mph at 6300 rpm set the set to say 55 mph at 6300 rpm if if shifts late lower the rpm, if it shifts to soon raise the rpm. it helps because it lets you work with one tables more or less.
