Just ordered OBDI conv from Madwolf...

Just ordered an OBDI conversion from madwolf for my LT4 Firehawk, I'm having him do the 93 octane tune for an LT4 but with 24lb injectors (I still can't believe SLP used the stock LT1 tuning and injectors ). I'm also having him lower the fan on settings, disable CAGS and the speed limiter, and set the revlimter for 6500rpm, and turn off AIR and EGR. Anything else I'm missing? The car is stock, but I plan on putting on TPIS long tubes with an offroad pipe over the winter, thus the reason for killing the AIR and EGR.

Why rev so high? You are probably topping out at 6K on your HP (I assume).

Oh and by the way, I am VERY jealous of your 'Hawk. My dream is to own the 97 LT4 someday...and I will.

Stock revlimit on an LT4 is 6300, but most LT4 Vette owners that have tuning set it to 6500. I doubt I will regularly go that high but it'll make it a little easier to avoid hitting the revlimiter when the tach is slow. I'll be dynoing it as soon as I get the tuning in so we can fine tune the tuning. Once I get it fine tuned, then I'll figure out where I should be shifting.

Definitely get a LT4 f-body if you get the chance. It's an amazing car. Once we get the tuning finished it should be putting out 300RWHP with no other mods. So you get the same HP as an LS1 but better low end torque. Plus the cars are very rare and everybody appreciates them.
