JET performance chip

(JET stage 1-2 performance chip)I have heard these things are junk, but I wanted to hear a few more opinions on what everyone thinks of them.I know 94-97 LT1 Camaros do not have a replacable prom(soldered)...so I was curious how they are installed???Do they just plug into the DLC diagnostic port?

Add-on chips/modules are never going to be as good/versatile as getting a custom tune (and often cheaper). I would not waste my time with it.

The JET power modules plug "inline" with one or more of the PCM connectors.
