i have a little problem, got my tranny rebuilt, and auburn posi with 3.73 gears, if your from illinois, close to naperville or chicago, please help, the shop told me that a hypertech will fix my speedometer, because its way off because of gears, ive been tlking to ppl trying to buy one, but if anyone lives in this area, if you could just use it on my car it would be greatly apriciated

It's my understanding that you can't use someone elses Hypertech to fix your speedo. Each Hypertech gets "married" to a single car. You could buy one from someone but make sure they reload their stock flash (divorce it ) otherwise it'll be useless to you.

If you have a '94 or '95 I could fix it for you. I can also put you in contact with someone who lives downtown Chicago that could do it for you.

 

I dont know if you realize, but two f-body big shops Speed Inc. and Finish Line Performance are based in IL. Speed Inc. is in Schaumburg and Finish Line is in Naperville. Plus, one of this boards big tuner, MadZ28, is right in Dekalb so any of these three places can take care of your speedo adjustment for a small fee.

yea i know finish line performance ive been there before, i have a dyno tune setup for 14th of october, but i'll just try and buy a hypertech because i cant last till then jus t keeping up with traffic heh

 

I like that Speed Inc. is close to home and I can pick up last minute items from there. However, there customer service can use some work. Maybe if I had an LS1/LS6 I would get treated better.
