Works for me. (in the Freescan setup, choose the 94 Camaro definition.)
Good Luck

I went to Tunertools.com ( http://tunertools.com/ALDL_Cables.asp ) and bought "Product ID: OBD2-aldlobd2u ALDL Cable w/OBD2, USB Version"
They have an 800 number so you can call to be sure of which cable to get.
I'm using this on an ACER running under Vista.
Good Luck ...

Try this link to a conversion for 12 pin cables to 16 pin 1995 ...

It's courtesy of Camaro Z28 moderator Shoebox. You might want to pm him to be sure it would allow you to use one (12 pin) cable for both cars.

Freescan does not tune, it only lets you monitor. Get Tunercat if you want to do some tuning.

Tunercat is the cheapest and works as well as anything for tuning. Plus it is not VIN locked.

You can tune out the top speed governor, plus you can save your stock tune in case you ever need to go back to it. You can tune out any OBD codes, such as AIR, EGR, etc.
For true tuning, you really need to invest in a wideband.
But in the mean time, you need to get lots of practice logging and charting data so you are familiar with the important parameters.
