I am changing my stall..Do I need another reprogram.

Guys, My trans just blew up 2 weeks ago. I am having the trans rebuilt to handle more power from www.dynotechperformance.com and sent my vig converter to have it cleaned and restalled about 400rpms lower. My Vig use to stall at 3000-3200 rpms now it will stall around 2600-2800 rpms. My PCM was reprogrammed about 8 months ago when I had the 383 blower combo with the 3000-3200 stall. Now it will have a 2600-2800stall. I drive the car ~600 miles weekly, sometimes in traffic and it will only see the track like 3-4 time each year so that is why I decided on a lower stall...

Do I need my PCM reprogramed or will I be fine with my current tune?

If I do need a new program, please explain why..

I figure, since the Trans is shifting on MPH, I will be fine and since my IAC is currently programmed to idle at ~1000rpms, I should be fine even if the new lower stall drags the idle down like 200-250 rpms.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Claude

You should be just fine. I can't see any reason to reprogram for a little tighter converter.
