Hypertech power programmer
For mostly stock, yeah you will get a little more and can adjust for gears, tires, rev limit at will. A little pricey for all that and will not do any good once you get headers or other mods. But, I just sold mine for $175 on ebay so deals are out there. If you do buy used, make sure it was deprogrammed on the original vehicle or it will be useless.
ya, I was on the ht website and it said the programmer is 'married' to the original car it was used on and cannot be used on any other car... of course they would say that but I was wondering if it's true or not..

Yeah you will notice the difference
.. I paid 300$ for it new that is not worth it "my opinion".. but I say 175 is a steal. My car was stock except exhaust and I ran 13.80 @ 101mph with the tune in there. You can adjust shift firmness, shift points, gear ratio's, the engine tune for 93 oct or 87 oct, desired fan temps for low temp tstat, and now Hypertech makes a card for it to read trouble codes and clear the as well.. Go on their web site and read up on it.. Let me know via email and i'll give you my # to work it all out... BTW I have a set of BBK mid length ceramic coated headers to

You will notice a difference, especially if you add a 160* therm which I recommend. Not huge, but I could always tell when the tune was there or not. Just understand that if you do any more than CAI and catback type of mods you will not be able to use it. HT says that up front on their website now.

another thing is I've read some horror stories about the HPP actually making the car run worse, knocking and idling rough, which I don't know whether or not to believe.
