I have a Hypertech PP III and I sold the car it went to a while back, (not my current Z) But I thiink the cars computer wasn't turned back to stock when I sold it. If the HPP III still has the old vin in it can it be removed so I can sell it? Do I have to send it to Hypertech? Thanks for any help

 

Update - For anyone interested I got a hold of Hypertech and they want the proof you were the origional buyer of the HPPIII, Then they want $200 to remove the Vin#. If any of you computer Whizzes out there have any idea how I could do this myself I would be interested and I assume some others as well

 

Locate the car and detune so you can sell it....if the dude lets ya

 

Only problem is I sold it about 2 yrs. ago and I have no idea where it is.

 

Check with Ion at madz28.com, I've read once that he may be able to "fix" it for you.
