How much good does the Power Programmer do?

Hey with all of the mods I have done to the car, would a Power Programmer be that beneficial for it? I have heard some good stuff bout them, but will it help that much?

Re: How much good does the Power Programmer do?

If you are talking about buying a Hypertech unit, I'd say forget it! It is costly and for half the cost you can get your PCM "tuned", it'll give more and better response than the Hypertech. Do you need programming? My response would be that with your mods programming would improve performance, idle shifts and just about everything. Try www.pcmforless.com

Bryan Herter is very good and responsive and has a long track record of results and satisfaction. Are there others? Yes, MadZ28.com and many others. Any would be better than Hypertech.

Thanks,

yes the hypertechs are often rips offs. Do a search and you'll even find a few guys who have slowed down with them.
