Help using Freescan

I just bought a cable from Steve Ruse and was about to use Freescan, however Im a little unsure on how to use it. I know to simply click start on the bottom left of the screen, but can I just let the car idle in closed loop to check my sensor readings, or am I going to have to drive around the block with it running?

Re: Help using Freescan

you have to click on the top start, not the log one, and you will also have to tell it to interact (on the right side of the control panel) listen wont get you anything.
Then its real time data in the engine data tab, you wont have to drive if you dont want to, but it depends on what you want to do.....

Re: Help using Freescan

Will FreeScan discover ABS codes? My ABS light is on and I recieved my cable from AKMS today in the mail. However it is 11pm and I dont feel like going out tonight to try and mess with it. If it doesnt, does anyone know of a program that will?
