Help with Freescan!!!

Im starting to get very pissed off with this supposed "easy to use" program. I did an OBD1 conversion on my car and have the correct cable to scan it. The problem i am having is that the program keeps saying "unknown header" and something to do with the idle. The program will not even detect the car being on unless i happen to put it in the Lotus Espirit 4 cylinder category. As soon as i put it in 94z28 it will not work at all... Can someone please help me on this as i need to be able to figure out what is wrong with my car.

Post this in the computer section.

I have Freescan and it works perfectly and I have no idea why yours is acting like that.
