Help with check engine codes
My 96 z28 is throwing a 1641 & 1642 code. Where can I look these up?
The check engine light came on. My cooling fans will not turn on. I checked the fuses and the cooling fan 20A fuse in the engine bay was blown. I replaced and re-set the computer. The fuse blew again and the check engine light came back on.
I had autozone check codes. They said found 1641 & 1642 error code. One of the codes for for "air injection valve". The scanner wouldn't tell what the other code was. Anybody have any ideas? Would a faulty air injection valve cause the fuse to blow?
