Getting Data from my '95

I have a Mastach cable using a DB9 and COM1, and I have been trying to get it to work on my '95. I bypassed the diode and was able to get it to work with my laptop, but the only program that I can get to work is Datamaster. I have the black wire to pin 5, and the red wire to pin 9. I have tried winaldl and a couple of other programs, but none will work other than Datamaster.
I'm just curious to know if there is something else that I can do to get comm with other programs.

I think that I'm going to. It seems to be much more functional than many other programs out there. My concern now is whether or not something like tunercat will work.

If you have no problem with datamaster it should. I use both of them all the time and they work great together.

I used Datamaster Thursday on my drive home and it worked flawlessly. I replaced my O2's (throwing a DTC), and I never had another problem. I even figured out the little Dyno thing (which is pretty cool by the way).
I'm going in with my Brother-in-law to get Tunercat, he has a '95 Formula, so we can mess around with it.
Speaking of Tunercat, does anyone have any parameters that may be useful? I only have a cat back and CAI right now, but I will be getting headers in the future, so I am looking for anything that can get me a little more power out of what I have, and then I can tune with the headers from there.
