so what your saying is you worked to get the blms to 123 then when you had them to 123 you locked by staying in open loop. why would you lock the blms after you got them to 123.

No. I worked to get my blms consistant from side to side given the cam I've isntalled. I locked the blms at 128 at WOT for tuning purposes. If the blms are higher than (i think) 130, then in PE mode the computer adds fuel on top of the pe table's values, based on recent O2 readings. This unknown makes it difficult to tune a/f at WOT. This way, I tune off of the PE tables with the assurance that it will never add more fuel than I've programmed it to.

Because my car had a tendency to run lean at WOT, the PCM would add 20.3% fuel to each side during WOT based on the LTrims.

I locked my BLMs at 128 during WOT, which has made tuning easier. It also makes my car more consistent from day to day.

Can you lock them with tunercat? If so, how and should I do this too?
