Recentley my car has been running rough and I haven't figured out what the problem is yet. It is running like it has a missfire or maybe one of the O2 sensors are bad. I replaced the coil, plugs, wires, and it runs better. It doesn't surge when idleing anymore, but the SES light is still on and it still isn't running 100%. I hooked up my laptop to it and tried to read the codes, but failed at it. I couldn't get it it to record my car while it was running. I remember it saying something about choosing a comm port which I know nothing about. Can someone please help me figure out how to get datamaster to work I would appreciate it greatly.

Go to setup>com port and then select com port 1 or any com port that is highlighted. Then go to file>open and name the file whatever you want. Then just hit start.

 

Thanks...now I can figure out what is wrong with my car.
