I finally crossed over and picked up a FAST XFI setup. Now i wonder why i didn't do it years ago! This thing is awsome! Anyway, i'm currently still running the fuel pump via the factory PCM (had to add the extra wire to the XFI opti harness to get the required PCM signal to keep the pump running). Everything works fine and the XFI works great, but i'd like to hook up the fuel pump to the XFI instead since i'm trying to phase out the stock PCM. My question is, do i just need to hook up the green "FP" wire from the XFI harness labled "FP/fan/esc" to the factory wire from the stock PCM thats supplying the signal to the fuel pump relay? This is a green/black wire in pin A7 of the stock harness according to my shop manual. Or do i also need to worry about the theft deterrent system as well? I noticed there is another fuel pump wire that goes from the PCM to the theft deterrent as well. I believe it is pin A25. Not sure cause i don't have my manual in front of me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
