I have a 92 vette, and it has the same computer as you guys 93 computers, and the question that I have is if you guys know what the limit is of the computer? My car is banging at 7000 and I was wondering if the computer shuts off at that or I may have some other issue. My Tuner Cat table goes to 7500, and my rev limiters are set to 8K.

 

Unfortunately, it's true. 7K is the max limit of all the LT1 PCMs. It's coded into the firmware. After you get to about 7200 RPM, the computer will shut down, along with the car. I've heard rumors of some people managing to get around this, but I've not seen any evidence to support the rumors.
