I have a 91 z28 TBI 305. I took out the TBI motor and harness and installed a TPI 350 motor and wiring harness and ECM that came from a 91 Z28 out of a junk yard the only way we could get it running was to pour some gas in the intake...the fuel pump would only work if we jumped it at the relay but the injectors wouldnt pump Then we realilzed we had to splack the ignition (junk yard no keys)and the 91s have a chip in the key so we thought no worries its the VAT system errrrrr wrong!!!!!!! After installing the motor and harness and TPI fuel pump (yes all conections are good) we cant even jump the relay to get the fuel pump on. We checked the book and it says to run a hot wire to the G terminal on the ALDL and the fuel pump should kick on ...but guess what no wire is in the G terminal !!! ( i have tried releasing any pressure in the fuel lines too) IT gets better i tried jumping the A & B terminals on the ALDL to check codes and im not getting any codes not even the 12 code ....We are stumped if anyone has run into this problem we could sure use some help or ideas!!!
