Engine misfire code and LT1 edit??
Engine misfire code and LT1 edit??
Does anyone know if this can be tuned out with OBD2 LT1 edit like you can with LS1 edit. Also why do I get a rear o2 heater check code when the rear o2's are turned off??
I am trying to get this car to pass obd2 scan test for DMV.
Thanks
Jon

I just Friday turned my rear o2's off. Or so I thought until Saturday when I got a code and SES light for one of the rear sensors.
I went back and looked at the file again and had missed one.
There are like 8 rear o2 things in there, and you have to get them all turned off.
I know that it's possible to turn off misfire detection to a certain degree because I know someone who's done it. Chris 96 WS6 has done it. I can't tell you how to do it because I don't know.

I have the 2.2 version of LT1 Edit, and on the Engine Test Parameters, there is a misfire setting.. I would assume that to be the minimum RPM for the misfire test. You might need to update to the latest version of the software.
