Dual-bank wideband users...

How much difference in A/F are you seeing between each bank?

Currently, I only have 1 WB02 in my Left bank and don't plan on installing another on the Right Bank if I don't need too. I don't have any exhaust leaks,etc..so I would think both sides should be very close.

Thanks

Cody

I dont have a direct answer to your question because I think it depends on when your reading it...

I also have a WB in my left bank, I chose this bank simply because it has the potential to have the leanest AFR during WOT on a stock fuel rail running HIGH hp even if you can supply plenty of pressure to the input side of the rail. I'll call this situation "fuel rail restriction" of the stock fuel rail (regardless of the capacity of the rest of the system) - the left side (farthest cylinder back) is the last to get fuel therefore reading this should theoretically be "safer" than reading after the Y (an average of both sides) or reading on the right side since the right side fuel rail is the first to get fuel therefore should run "safer/richer" at WOT during a "fuel rail restriction" condition.

During normal driving the concerns above are completely void and this is where I dont have comment since now it depends on your cam and compression and injector consistency most of all.

Now my point: I wonder if it's possible to see black smoke with AFR's in the 11.8-12.0 range (no black smoke) with this setup on the left side during a "fuel rail overload" and the right side could be 9.0-11.0 AFR (black smoke) if the rail was infact causing a restriction?
